Stanadyne is now offering a new style PMD. It is different than the older black PMD's the new one is grey in color. You must get the proper connectors with this new PMD. The old style connectors will not fit. Also the new style PMD has gold plated terminals.

We will send you a brand new 6' cable WITH the proper connectors and the correct gold plated sockets on the new cable. You dont want to mix different types of metal especially in this application because electrolysis can occur.

This is a brand new extension cable used to locate the PMD FSD to a cooler place. This cable is 6 feet long. The protective loom is High tempature rated.

The cable is 6 feet long so you can locate the PMD FSD OUTSIDE the engine compartment.

Simply unplug your PMD  and plug this harness in, route this harness to new location and plug other end into a new/used FSD. PMD or "pump mounted driver usually refers to a stock application and FSD or " fuel solenoid driver" refers to a remote mounted PMD.

We have done testing and have discovererd if you locate your PMD FSD anywhere INSIDE the engine compartment it will run hotter than when it is in the stock location.

The key is to mount your PMD FSD to a heat sink and OUTSIDE the engine bay. We recomend behind the hole in the front bumper on the passenger side. Again this cable is 6 feet long so you can easily do that. Cable is "plug & play" exactly matching the factory harness.                     I will mail by the next business day or the same day if I can.
